April Fool

I had a fun family, and we tried to bring a smile to each other, and my Uncle Den was such a tease. He would target Grandma each year, on this day Apr. 1st for many yrs. after he had left home. At this time when we still had the old style delivery of milk by a horsse drawn carriage. It was delivered EARLY AND IN THE DARK. He would "snatch" it and hide it the bushes, or at the back-door, or somewhere other than the regular spot by the front doorstep. Grandma was always FIRST up..we'de wake up to a door slamming, and her ranting about "that darned "Denny". Haha! Then he'd call about noon, to tease her. But she would plan revenge too. It was a family joke, but that's another memory, I'll share at another time.
